Porte sells and installs hidden and hinged doors. Measurements from the field, offers, advance payments and delivery deadlines needed to be in one place. We built an app that tracks every order from the first inquiry to installation, on a phone in the field and on a computer in the office.

The task

The owner is out in the field, measuring openings and agreeing details with customers, while the assistant in the office prepares offers and tracks payments. Both need to see the same orders at the same time, and the app has to be easy to use on a phone too.

The solution

• Two types of orders: hidden and hinged doors, each with its own number (SV-2026-001, KV-2026-001) and its own specification.
• One-click statuses: pending, accepted or rejected, with filters and search by name, number and address.
• Price, advance payments and balance: every payment is recorded and the remaining balance is calculated automatically. The overview shows the total agreed, the amount paid and what is left to collect.
• Deadline alerts: the app calculates the delivery deadline and warns you when it is approaching or has passed.
• Shared database: changes made on the phone reach the office computer within seconds.
• Works offline: in the field without signal, the order is saved on the phone and sent as soon as there is a connection.
• Inquiries from the website: the app is ready for inquiries from the 3D configurator on porte.ba to arrive directly as orders.

In the field, from the phone

The app installs on the phone like a regular app, without the App Store or Google Play. A new order is entered right at the customer’s home: measurements, opening direction, colours, hardware and photos of the openings. The address can also be added by pinning the current location.

The result

All orders are in one place, and the owner and the assistant see the same status. Deadlines and outstanding balances are visible right on the overview. The app runs on the client’s hosting, and only signed-in users have access.
